Bellator 287 Results: Mansour Barnaoui With Big Victory

Mansour Barnaoui claimed a big Bellator win in Italy this weekend.

Barnaoui bested Adam Piccolotti in the main event live on Showtime. The card took place from the Allianz Cloud Arena in Milan, Italy.

The win moved Barnaoui to 20-4 overall and marked his first win in Bellator. He has now claimed victory in all eight of his last eight fights.

“I did exactly what I wanted to do, and I won,” he said. “I really would like to make the tournament and fight against Usman [Nurmagomedov] or [Patricky] Pitbull.”

“Things are incredible for me. First, many family and friends came here to watch me. Even the player, [AC Milan’s Ismaël] Bennacer. I was very happy to meet him. It gave me a lot of energy.

“He tried to put me immediately on the ground but I was able to stop him. I do what I already think about. But it’s working, because my training was exactly on this because we knew he wanted to put me on the ground.”

Fabian Edwards, the brother of UFC champion Leon Edwards, topped Charlie Ward. Tim Wilde and Justin Gonzalez were also main card winner.
