Who else would pay big money to see Sheamus go up against AEW’s MJF? Seems the two had a spat on Twitter recently, as the WWE star trolled the scarf-wearing heel.

WWE Star Trolls AEW’s MJF

WWE superstar Sheamus hopped on Twitter to initially troll Happy Corbin. The former world champion was bugging Corbin about how “real” heels wear scarves.

This caught the attention of AEW heel, MJF, who hopped onto the thread. Sheamus responded to him using a Conor McGregor digital avatar gif, saying who the “fook” is that guy.

MJF’s response suggested that he was the only heel in wrestling that wears a scarf. He also accused Sheamus of wearing “six-inch” lifts in his shoes.

MJF also suggested that he was more “over” in one day than the Celtic Warrior had been in his whole wrestling career. With that said, MJF did congratulate him for his “resurgence” after his incredible match at Clash, against IC Champ, Gunther.

Sheamus responded with a Chris Jericho gif (another heel who wore a scarf), circa 2016/17. MJF conceded to Sheamus’s tweet, also stating he could wait for “his boy” Happy Corbin to end him.

Sheamus responded with another gif of a heel that wore a scarf, this time, it was Elias. It’s important to note that MJF was never tagged or mentioned in the original tweet he responded to.

It’s interesting that MJF has moved on to engaging in chatter, even if it’s smack talk, with WWE superstars. Does this mean that he’s more determined than ever to jump ship to the other promotion?

MJF has been busy on social media as of late. Not only arguing with Sheamus, but he also just announced his engagement to girlfriend Naomi Rosenblum.

Has Ric Flair started a trend? Believe it or not, his friend and former colleague, 69-year-old Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, recently announced he is returning to the ring.

Ricky Steamboat In-Ring Return

Yes, you read that headline right. Sports Illustrated is reporting that WWE Hall of Famer Ricky Steamboat is scheduled to wrestle at a Big Time Wrestling show.

The event is taking place in Raleigh, North Carolina at the Dorton Arena on Sunday, November 27th. His opponent has not been announced as of yet.

When Was Ricky Steamboat’s “Last Match”?

Ricky last competed in June 2010. He teamed up with son Richie to face off against the Dudebusters, Caylen Croft, and Trent Barreta during an FCW event.

Meanwhile, the last time Steamboat competed for the WWE was a non-televised live event that took place in the summer of 2009. He went up against and defeated Drew McIntyre.

Earlier in 2009, Steamboat also faced Chris Jericho during the Backlash pay-per-view. Y2J ended up winning that bout.

Prior to 2009, Ricky had been retired for about 15 years. His last match (at that point in time) was in 1994.

Big Time Wrestling is known to bring back high-profile wrestlers of the past. In June, WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart returned to “manage” Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.

The tag team went up against Brock Anderson and Brian Pillman Jr. in a match. It’ll be interesting to see who ends up being Steamboat’s opponent, and what his bout will look like when all is said and done.
