Sylvester Stallone and his estranged wife Jennifer Flavin, who he has been married to for 25 years, have called off their divorce and reconciled after it was revealed that they didn’t have a prenuptial agreement, which meant that his $400 million fortune was not protected.
“They decided to meet back up at home, where they talked and were able to work out their differences,” a spokesperson for the couple told Page Six. “They are both extremely happy.”
“They’ve decided to let it ride again,” a source told People Magazine. “They just decided to reverse course and try again.”
Daily Mail reported that days before the reconciliation was announced, a court filing at a Palm Beach Country, Florida court revealed that Stallone and Flavin had come to an agreement. The document claimed, “that it is in the best interests of each of them individually, and more importantly collectively as a family, to resolve all issues attendant to the dissolution of their marriage in a dignified, amicable and private manner out-of-court.”
Rumors had been swirling that a reconciliation could be in the works ever since last week, when Stallone, 76, took to social media to post two throwback photos showing he and Flavin, 54, holding hands. He captioned the images by simply writing, “Wonderful…”
Stallone have been married since 1997, and they share three adult daughters: Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20. The Hollywood star is also a father to Seargeoh, 43, with ex Sasha Czack — with whom he also shared a son named Sage who tragically died of a atherosclerosis in July of 2012.
Flavin filed for divorce on August 19, claiming that Stallone “engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets, which has had an adverse economic impact on the marital estates.”
“I’m sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone,” she said at the time. “While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters. I ask for privacy for our family as we amicably move forward.”
Stallone denied the allegations that she made against him in her filing, saying, “I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues.”
It was later revealed that Stallone and Flavin never signed a prenuptial agreement, meaning his $400 million fortune would not be protected in the divorce. A friend of Stallone’s had said that he was “blindsided” by Flavin’s filing.
“Sylvester’s intent was to work things out with Jennifer,” he said. “Now I don’t know [what will happen] because she decided to go public with everything.”

After Flavin filed for divorce, it was rumored that she did so because Stallone wanted to get a Rottweiler dog to protect the family, and that she did not want him to do so. However, Stallone was quick to deny that this was the reason behind the split.
“We did not end the relationship on such a trivial argument,” he told TMZ.
After so many years together, we’re glad to see that Stallone and Flavin have decided to give their marriage another shot. Hopefully this divorce was just a bump in the road for them, and they can have many years of happiness together to come!
