‘Walkin’ After Midnight’

Patsy Cline’s star-making hit was “Walkin’ After Midnight,” which she performed for the first time on the CBS variety show “Arthur Godfrey’s Talent Scouts.”

The song was an instant hit after the televised performance, reaching number 1 on the country charts and number 12 on the pop charts.

‘I Fall To Pieces’

“I Fall To Pieces” was the song that made Cline a big star. Like several of her other hits, Cline was hesitant to record it, as she felt it lacked some of the country sound that she was familiar with.
