It’s been four months since the country music legend Naomi Judd tragically committed suicide by shooting herself in the head at the age of 76. Now, a judge has ruled that some graphic photos of her body will remain sealed because releasing them would cause pain to her family.

Daily Mail reported that court documents state that the records that “‘include photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and written reports” will be banned from being released on the public record.

The judge ruled that if these records were to be made public, the Judd family would “suffer irreparable harm in the form of emotional distress, pain and mental anguish.” He added that the “entire family” would feel pain for “years to come” if the information was put on public record.

The order will be talked about at an evidentiary hearing on September 12.

Naomi Cuts Daughters Out Of Will

This comes after it was announced that Naomi had cut her daughters Wynonna and Ashley out of her will. While Wynonna plans to contest this because she feels it’s unfair for her to be left out, Ashley reportedly does not plan to fight it.

“Ashley Judd has no problem with her late mother Naomi leaving her entire $25 million fortune to her second husband Larry Strickland,” a source close to Ashley said. “With Ashley, it’s never really been about the money. She has a net worth of some $14 million but lives a relatively simple life.”

The insider went on to say that this is in contrast to Wynonna, to whom “finances are near and dear.” Wynonna has long had a troubled relationship with money, spending habits, and her mother whom she described as, “my beloved enemy.”

The source also claimed that while they initially leaned on each other after their mother’s suicide, Wynonna and Ashley have since drifted apart.

“[At first] Ashley and Wynonna really leaned on each other in their grief over Naomi’s death, but you knew it was only a matter of time before their ages-old sisterly issues would resurface,” the source said.

Wynonna And Ashley Close To Stepfather

Another source told Page Six that Wynonna and Ashley have long been close to Strickland, who is not their biological father.

“He’s been in their lives since the late 70’s — from a really early age. He’s not a stranger,” this insider said.

“It’s easy for people to say, ‘There must be trouble there,’” the source added. “[But] for people who have been around them, Larry has always been there. They call him ‘Pops.’ They all have adjoining farms.”

Naomi had been open about her mental health struggles for years before she killed herself at her Tennessee farmhouse on April 30.

“She used a weapon…a firearm,” Ashley said after her death. “That’s the piece of information that we are very uncomfortable sharing, but understand that we’re in a position that if we don’t say it someone else is going to.”

The world is still reeling from the shocking suicide of Naomi. Please join us in saying a prayer for her family as they continue to try and come to terms with this tragedy.
