In one of his biggest wins to date, Alexander Volkov bested Fabricio Werdum.
Volkov returns to action this weekend when he meets Jairinho Rozenstruik in the main event. The heavyweight battle headlines the ESPN+ card.
Back in 2018, Volkov stepped foot inside the Octagon to battle Werdum, a former UFC heavyweight champion. From London, it was all Volkov, as he scored a finish over Werdum to continue his winning ways.
Volkov’s opponent, Rozenstruik, had himself a keynote win when he defeated Augusto Sakai. That bout took place in the main event of UFC Las Vegas 28 last year.
With the win, Rozenstruik earned himself a “Performance of the Night” bonus and this bout with Volkov.
