It should come as no surprise to you that the Hollywood star and longtime radical liberal activist Jane Fonda, also known as Hanoi Jane, is not taking the overturn of Roe v. Wade well. What may surprise you, however, is that she’s responded to the overturn by calling on America to “redefine vaginas as AK47s.”

Fonda Goes Off

“If a corporation can be defined as a person, why not redefine vaginas as AK47s?” Fonda, 84, asked on Twitter. “That way, they’d be free of governmental restrictions by those who care about ‘the sanctity of life.'” Of course, there are governmental restrictions on AK-47s, but we wouldn’t expect a liberal gun grabber to know that.

This comes less than a week after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, effectively handing the issue of abortion back to the states.

“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote in his majority opinion, according to Daily Mail. “Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences. And far from bringing about a national settlement of the abortion issue, Roe and Casey have enflamed debate and deepened division.”

Fonda Calls On Americans To ‘Fight Like Hell’

When a draft opinion suggesting that the Supreme Court would soon overturn Roe v. Wade leaked last month, an enraged Fonda went on “The View” to urge viewers to “fight like hell to not allow this to happen.”

“And if it does [overturn], fight like hell through the vote,” Fonda said, according to Entertainment Weekly. “One of the things that this horrendous leak shows us is the importance of voting. We allowed someone to be elected to office who has put three fringe, right-wing people into the Supreme Court, which is supposed to be a non-political, non-activist body.”

In case you couldn’t tell, Fonda was referring to the former President Donald Trump. Let’s just say she’s not a fan of his.

“The Republicans complain about activist Supreme Court, activist lawyers — this is the most activist, politically oriented, narrowly focused Supreme Court in United States history, so we have to vote,” she added. “We have to mobilize to get out the vote in the midterm elections and in 2024 to make sure that we don’t put in office anyone who does not support women’s right to choose and doesn’t understand the crisis called the climate crisis, which we have only eight years to address.”

Fonda’s Views On Abortion

Abortion is an issue that Fonda has been passionate about for decades, and she addressed it on her own website back in 2009.

“Reproductive health has to be understood from a woman’s point of view,” Fonda wrote at the time. How a woman manages her fertility comprises a whole spectrum of factors — her relations, sexual and otherwise with her partner; her economic and psychological circumstances; her status within the family and in the community; her future security.”

“Health factors are only one among all these others and since childbearing and child rearing is a complex social and economic undertaking that affects a woman’s economic, social, sexual, and emotional life, and the life of her family and her community, this undertaking cannot be decided by a medical doctor who is weighing it from the point of view of health risks, or of policy-makers who may view it subjectively as a moral issue,” she added.

“This makes the woman an ‘object’ and it dismisses her knowledge about her own body and her own life and instead of enhancing her dignity and self-respect it belittles and disempowers her,” Fonda concluded.

Fonda and her fellow liberals can kick and scream all they want to, but it won’t bring back their precious Roe v. Wade. We will also not be redefining vaginas as AK47s anytime soon, Hanoi Jane.
