Tom Brady Curses Out Media For Criticizing Him – ‘F*** You Guys, F*** You TV’

Comments that Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady made about the way he is treated by the media went viral on Tuesday, and what he had to say may surprise you.

‘F*** You Guys’

Fox News reported that though Brady initially made the comments at the end of last month, it wasn’t until yesterday that they really made the rounds on social media. The minute-long video shows the Buccaneers practicing as various members of the media are heard making critics of Brady.

When asked how he reacts to this criticism, Brady can be seen holding up two middle fingers as he says, “I just look at the TV and go like this. F— you guys, f— you TV.”

Brady Aims To ‘Block Out The Noise’

Brady went on to say that he chooses to “block out the noise” so that he can solely focus on what’s happening on the field, both in practices and in games.

“You block out the noise because none of it matters,” he explained. “What we do is get back to what we did all year. Still not perfect, but football is not a game of perfect. We always expect to be at our best.”

Brady briefly retired earlier this year, before changing his mind and announcing that he will be playing another season for the Buccaneers. By the time their season opens against the Dallas Cowboys on September 11, Brady will be 45 years-old.

Bengals Quarterback Weighs In On Brady

Earlier this week, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, 25, gave his thoughts on why he thinks Brady announced his retirement, then backtracked.

“I think he wanted to shut down the conversation,” Burrow said, according to CBS Sports. “If he didn’t announce his retirement, everyone would be talking about, ‘Is he retiring? Is he not retiring?’ So, I think he went ahead and did it to get everyone off his back so he could go think about it.”

Burrow also said that unlike many, he was not surprised to see Brady change his mind so fast.

“Did anybody actually think he was going to be retired?” Burrow stated. “You guys gotta know better than that. … He’s playing way too well to give it up right now.”

Brady Focused On The Upcoming Season

Brady has tried to make it clear that he’s firmly focused on having the best season possible with the Buccaneers.

“It’s still some time to get to that point,” Brady recently said, referring to the fact that the season opener is still four months away. “I feel like I’m still kind of getting my body where it needs to be. It’s a big commitment. I think the best part about doing it is always doing it with your teammates. I’ve got a great group of teammates.”

There will undoubtedly be tons of media attention on Brady once the NFL finally begins. It will be interesting to see if he will successfully be able to tune out that noise, and have the great season that he’s hoping for!

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
