Garth Brooks Is Opening His Own Nashville Honky Tonk – Here Are The Details

Ready to find friends in low places? Well, if you’re as much of a fan of Garth Brooks as I am, you finally have a place to drown and chase those blues away. You’ll be OK! Garth Brooks is officially opening his own Nashville honky tonk. 

Here are some details on where Brooks’ bar will be and who some of his new neighbors are.

Details On Garth Brook’s Honky Tonk

While we don’t know the name or the opening date, we do know that Brooks is taking over 411 Broadway, the former home of the iconic Paradise Park.

The massive 40,000 square foot venue will host three stories of bars and stages for live music around the clock. Brooks’ business manager bought the property in December 2021 for a whopping $48 million dollars.

The country legend is teaming with Nashville’s Strategic Hospitality to manage the spot. Strategic is well-known in Nashville and owns Pinewood Social and the highly acclaimed restaurant, The Catbird Seat.

Much like Garth himself, he is building his own honky tonk to promote “love and kindness.”*

The Taste of Country article also speculated that Brooks’ wife Trish Yearwood may be involved with the cuisine, considering she pivoted to a cooking show host on the Food Network and published several cookbooks.

Garth Brooks’ Broadway Neighbors

Broadway in Nashville is famous for its lines of venues playing country music. In the last few years, a lot of country superstars have gotten in on the act themselves with branded bars and music venues. 

Among Garth’s neighbors will be:

Blake Shelton’s Ole Red 

Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa

Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row

John Rich’s Redneck Rivieria

And, Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse

Full disclosure, I am not the biggest country music fan. But what I am a fan of is loud, good music and a fun time. Broadway seems like it packs all of those into one big street-wide party.
