Pioneering rapper and “Law & Order: SVU” star Ice T went viral on Thursday with a hilarious joke about the soaring gas prices in President Joe Biden’s America.
“I was robbed at a gas station in NJ last night. After my hands stopped trembling..I managed to call the cops and they were quick to respond and calmed me down…..” Ice T wrote. “My money is gone.. the police asked me if I knew who did it..I said yes.. it was pump number 9…”
Now that’s a tweet we can ALL relate to! It’s no surprise that the tweet quickly went viral, with social media users everywhere getting a kick out of it.
Fox News reported that this came after gas prices in the United States hit $4.25 on Monday, almost reaching the historic record of $4.33 that was hit earlier in March.
Ice T isn’t the only person trying to cheer people up by making jokes about this bleak situation, as others are as well:

U.S. Oil & Gas Association President Tim Stewart and North Dakota Petroleum Council President Ron Ness told Fox Business on Wednesday that they have sent a letter to Biden offering to help find a way to lower gas prices. However, they also want to see Biden stop trying to pin the increasing prices on the oil and gas industry.
“That was the purpose of our message to the administration last week is there’s common ground which we can meet on,” Stewart said. “But the first thing you have to do is stop treating the U.S. oil and gas industry as if it is an enemy to the American people.”
Stewart went on to say that Biden needs to “send a clear message to Wall Street” that investing in the oil and gas industry in the United States is a good thing to do.
“The reality is…the Biden administration and its allies in Congress did nothing to address this crisis as it was unfolding while we were warning them of that… and in fact, they actually were accelerating the crisis,” he continued.
Council President Ness agreed, saying that Biden needs to take action to lower gas prices by changing up his energy policies.
“This president could change the price of gas tomorrow if he would come to the podium and announce that his administration is changing direction,” Ness said. “He’s directing his federal agencies to work with industry-approved permits, approved pipeline projects…urging the financial sector to invest in oil and gas…grow production in America…this is limiting our ability to grow.”
Unless President Biden changes something, he can expect more digs about gas prices from disgruntled Americans like Ice T.
