Daily Mail reports that police were called to Jupiter Beach Resort & Spa at around 5pm on Tuesday. Thomas was rushed from there to the hospital, where she died due to what was possibly a “blood clot,” according to TMZ.

Officials say that her death does not seem to be suspicious at this time.

Located in Palm Beach, this resort has rooms that cost an average of $300 per night. It also has a full-service spa, that as of Wednesday, was “closed until further notice.”

The family of the late great Charlie Daniels posted a touching tribute to the Williams family.

Hank Williams Jr. And Mary Jane’s History

Williams Jr. met Thomas at one of his concerts back in 1985, and they tied the knot five years later in 1990. They separated in 2007, but they reconciled in 2011, and had been together ever since.

The Williams family has yet to release a statement about Thomas’ passing, with a relative only saying that they would like privacy at this time.

Hank and Mary Jane went on to have two children together, a son Samuel Williams and a daughter Katherine Williams-Dunning, who was tragically killed in a car crash nearly two years ago at the age of 27.

Sam Williams Conservatorship Controversy

Last month, son Sam Williams shocked the world with a series of tweets claiming he’d had been placed in a restrictive conservatorship by his father and half-sister Holly Williams following the death of Williams-Dunning and that he wanted out.

“‘I’ve been quiet a long time now. I want out of this, and I don’t mind people knowing,” read the caption of the video, which has since been deleted. “They took my grief process, my spirit, my money, my car, my home, and everything possible in order to ‘protect me.’ Well, I need protection from them.”

“I have worked my broken heart to quits since my dear Katie left for Home,” he added. “I do not deserve this. This is a scary step but I don’t see what else to do here. I am ashamed of my family and embarrassed. I am beyond done. I have my spirit back. Get. Me. Out. Please.”

Though the video was quickly deleted, it’s been confirmed that the emergency conservatorship was filed in August of 2020, and that it remains in place at this time.

This is clearly a very difficult time for the entire Williams family.
