Meghan McCain may no longer work on the ABC talk show “The View,” but that doesn’t mean she’s done sparring with her former co-host Joy Behar.

Meghan McCain’s Valentine’s Day Post

It all started when McCain took to Twitter to post a sweet photo of herself with her husband, conservative media personality Ben Domenech, for Valentine’s Day.

“Happy Valentines Day Ben ⁦@bdomenech⁩ – I love you and am grateful every day for the life we have together,” she wrote in the caption.

Meghan McCain Calls Out Joy Behar For Trolling

People Magazine reported that things went south when one internet troll commented on McCain’s post, “Does every thought and sentiment need to be on Twitter?”

“Apparently,” Behar responded in a tweet that has since been deleted.

This didn’t sit well with McCain, who proceeded to call out Behar by posting screenshots of her comment.

“Imagine spending your Valentines Day trolling your ex colleagues tweet about her husband,” McCain captioned the screenshots.

When Fox News meteorologist Janice Dean sassily commented that Behar “can’t quit you,” McCain ripped into her co-host for being “pathetic,” adding that “it creeps me out.”

In a tweet that she has since deleted, McCain went on to say that leaving “The View” “is like having ex’s who won’t stop drunk texting you.”

Meghan McCain And Joy Behar Regularly Argued

Prior to McCain leaving “The View” last summer, she and Behar regularly got into arguments. In one of their more infamous exchanges, Behar told McCain in January of last year that she “didn’t miss” her while she was away on maternity leave.

“I think they liked not having me,” McCain said back in October of her former co-hosts. “I think they liked not having someone who would fight with them or give an unpopular opinion.”

McCain also said that Behar’s comment about not missing her made her feel “very insecure,” and even led to her having a panic attack.

“Being told that to my face on national television shocked me and cut me deep. I cried for days,” she explained. “She’s supposed to be my friend and it’s supposed to be a sisterhood. I’ll never forget. I went back to my office and I had a panic attack. I was crying. I was hyperventilating. I threw up.”

‘The View’ Devolves Post-McCain

“The View” is yet to find a permanent replacement for McCain. Since her departure, the talk show has devolved into an echo chamber for liberals since her departure absent a conservative voice on the panel.

It’s certainly speaks volumes that Behar would choose to make such a negative comment on the wholesome Valentine’s Day post of a former colleague.

Do better, Joy Behar.
