Chris Pratt Gets Big Praise From Father-In-Law Arnold Schwarzenegger

The “Terminator” himself Arnold Schwarzenegger spoke out on Thursday night to praise his son-in-law Chris Pratt, who is currently expecting his second child with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger.

‘It’s The Easiest Thing To Be A Grandfather’

“It’s the easiest thing to be a grandfather,” Schwarzenegger, 74, gushed to late night host Jimmy Kimmel, referring to the fact that he is already grandfather to Pratt’s 0ne-year-old daughter Lyla.

“They come over to the house, you play with Lyla for around an hour or two, put her on the horse, put her with the dog,” he added, according to Fox News. “And after two hours, they leave. It’s fantastic! I have a great time when they come over to the house.”

Schwarzenegger went on to praise Pratt as a “fantastic guy” and “a great son-in-law.”

“I love my daughter Katherine, she’s so wonderful and I’m so proud of her,” he stated. “When they come over the whole house lights up. And the animals are there.”

Schwarzenegger Doesn’t Know Gender Of Second Baby

When asked if he knew the gender of the couple’s second baby, Schwarzenegger claimed to have no idea.

“I really don’t know. But I do blow it a lot of times because I can’t shut my mouth,” said Schwarzenegger. “It could easily be that they know. I don’t know. I don’t think so, because my wife never wanted to know. It was always a guessing kind of a game. I think because Katherine is a lot like Maria, she will probably go in the same direction and not want to know.”

Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver had their divorce finalized in December, more than a decade after they separated over the revelation that he had fathered a child with their housekeeper. They handled their divorce quietly, and it is unclear why the process took them so long.

Pratt Talks Fatherhood

Pratt is also father to a nine-year-old son named Jack with his ex-wife Anna Faris.

“The greatest gift that I’ve seen so far, the second child really shows you the uniqueness of the first child,” Pratt recently said, according to E! Online. “When you have one child, you just think, ‘Oh that’s what babies are like.’ And then a second child comes along, and they might do things differently from the get-go, and you say, ‘Oh wow, OK so that was actually unique what my first child had done.’ Each child is unique and special and they’re not just punched out of a mold.”
