America’s sweetheart Candace Cameron Bure, who you might know as Aurora Teagarden on Hallmark Channel or DJ Tanner from “Full House” and “Fuller House”, is known for being one of the most devoutly Christian actresses in Hollywood. The 45-year-old mother of 3 showed that once again when Candace Cameron Bure debuted a new Christian tattoo that depicts the cross earlier this month.
“I got something ?. Thank you @cachotattoo ✨✝️ for your delicate and beautiful artwork,” Cameron Bure wrote in the caption as she debuted her tattoo on Instagram.
Kelly Rizzo, the widow of Cameron Bure’s former “Full House” costar Bob Saget, commented on the post by saying, “Ummmm SO PROUD OF YOU tattoo sister ?????.”
Jodie Sweetin, Cameron Bure’s “Full House” sister, got in on the action as well.
“Ok… Now I get to take you for a matching rib piece,” she commented. “‘m getting tattooed in a month. Be prepared. Hahahahahaa. Baby steps, sis! Seriously though, SO PRETTY!!”

Cameron Bure has long been open about the important role that faith plays in her life.
“My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of who I am,” she told TODAY back in 2020. “My faith is so important to me whether in celebration or in challenges like this pandemic. I continue to stay in God’s word, the Bible, so I am comforted by truth and the hope God gives to all humanity and not allow fear to drive my emotions or decisions.”
“I also know that when I have feelings of hopelessness or fear, that God understands them and wraps His arms around us like the Father that He is,” she added at the time, when COVID-19 lockdowns were just beginning. “My Bible study with my small group of girlfriends is actually online since I travel so much. So that hasn’t changed. It’s a great way to stay connected to a group, regardless of your schedule.”
This has been a difficult few weeks for Cameron Bure, as she is currently in mourning for Saget, who was found dead in a Florida hotel room last month with massive head trauma at the age of 65.
“Every day it feels a little bit better, but then it’ll hit you outta nowhere,” she recently told US Weekly, referring to his passing. “I will really greatly miss his friendship and the laughs and the hugs.”
