Tiger Woods
Quicken Loans National 6/27/18

In February, Tiger Woods was involved in a one-car crash that severely injured his right leg and foot. The injury was so bad doctors were worried they would have to amputate his leg. The good news is that Tiger is making a full recovery and working hard to get back on the course.

But that’s where the good news ends if you’re a hardcore Eldrick fan like I am. Unfortunately, it does not appear as if Tiger will return to the tour full-time.

This is sad, but understandable news.

Here’s what Tiger has to say:

Finding the positives in his road to recovery. ?

Tiger has gone through so many injuries both on and off the course. As he gets older, he knows he can’t play at the same level he used to.

I think it is smart that he is preserving himself for big-ticket events. But don’t worry too much. I think Tiger will be back. Because the truth is, Tiger always comes back. He won’t be “back” to his dominating ways, but I think he will still be able to show his flashes of brilliance.

Remembering Tiger Woods At His Best

Tiger Woods made golf cool. Before him, golf was mostly known for being stuffy and for players not showing the slightest bit of emotion. That all changed once Tiger stormed onto the scene with his red shirts and fist-pumping.

He made golf exciting to watch and if he was in the lead on a Sunday, ratings would sore.

We won’t see the old Tiger again, and that’s a shame. But the memories will always be there. He inspired an entire generation.

And who knows, maybe he will sneak in a few major victories. If anyone is capable of making *another* massive comeback, it is Eldrick.

It wouldn’t shock me if Tiger makes another few Major runs. He is still the best golfer to ever play the game and his drive and determination to be the best have brought him back from the brink before.

I won’t hold my breath though. He isn’t the same as he once was, but on his best day, he is still the best to play 18 holes.
