Yesterday, we reported that NASCAR President Steve Phelps had condemned the anti-Joe Biden “Let’s go, Brandon.” Now, cowboy turned conservative firebrand Chad Prather is firing back by slamming Phelps for completely missing the point of this chant.

Prather exploded onto the scene with his viral “Unapologetically Southern” videos. Now the no-nonsense Texas Humorist turned YouTube sensation has his own show on BlazeTV.

Chad Prather Blasts NASCAR Over ‘Let’s Go Brandon’

“NASCAR President Steve Phelps came out the other day and said that he doesn’t want to be involved in any way whatsoeverwith the second-most popular phrase being tossed around airplanes these days: ‘Let’s go, Brandon!'” Prather said, according to The Blaze.

“The most famous phrase remains, of course, ‘Would you like to join the Mile-High Club?’ The expression is pretty popular as well down here on terra firma, and it’s making the folks at NASCAR terra-squirma. And of course, rather than just laugh it off for the joke that it is, they’ve got to make sure to step up to bat and swing for the woke fences by making sure we all know they don’t want to be a part of it.”

Prather proceeded to break down the “Let’s Go, Brandon” chant for Phelps, letting him know exactly why he should have just let this one go.

NASCAR Denounces ‘Let’s Go Brandon’

If “let’s go, Brandon” was an anti-conservative chant, Phelps undoubtedly would have just let it go. Since it’s an anti-liberal chant, however, Phelps was so terrified of being “cancelled” for it that he wasted no time in trying to put as much distance between it and him as possible.

“Do we like the fact that it kind of started with NASCAR and then is gaining ground out elsewhere?” Phelps said of the chant. “No, we’re not happy about that.”

Phelps was referring to the fact that the chant originated at a NASCAR race last month, when Brandon Brown won his first career NASCAR race in Alabama, and the Talladega Superspeedway crowd at the Xfinity Series race chanted “F— Joe Biden” during his interview.

NBC Sports reporter Kelli Stavast then incorrectly told Brown that the fans were chanting “let’s go, Brandon,” and the chant has since become a rallying cry for conservatives who found this assumed media coverup for Biden joke worthy.

The Whining Continues

“It’s an unfortunate situation and I feel for Brandon, I feel for Kelli,” Phelps said. “I think unfortunately it speaks to the state of where we are as a country. We do not want to associate ourselves with politics, the left or the right.”

Does NASCAR even realize that by condemning “Let’s Go Brandon” chant they’re actually turning on their fans in the stands?

What’s really “unfortunate,” Mr. Phelps, is that NASCAR has gone so soft and “woke” that it has lost it’s ability to take a joke.
