Watch Carrie Underwood’s Very Telling Response When Luke Bryan Mocks Aaron Rodgers At CMA Awards

Country superstar turned American Idol judge Luke Bryan dropped a joke about Green Back Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers at the 2021 Country Music Association Awards and vocal powerhouse Carrie Underwood’s reaction was everything.

On Tuesday, we reported that Carrie Underwood’s former NHL star husband Mike Fisher spoke out in defense of Aaron Rodgers’ decision to seek an alternative to the COVID-19 vaccine. The NFL league MVP came under fire for saying he was “immunized” and it was discovered after he tested positive for the virus that Rodgers did not receive actual COVID-19 vaccine.

Carrie Underwood Reacts To Luke Bryan’s Aaron Rodgers Joke At CMA Awards

On Wednesday night, Underwood herself indicated that she also supports Rodgers when she had an interesting reaction to Luke Bryan mocking him at the CMA Awards.

When Bryan made a joke at Rodgers’ expense, viewers were quick to notice that Underwood reacted by giving him a side-eye look that shot daggers at him.

Page Six reported that Bryan kicked off the show by saying that the CMAs were “following all the health protocols to keep everyone safe” amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It is so great to be here with all my fellow artists — tested and together. Or immunized? Who is it? Just playing,” Bryan said. This was a clear reference to Rodgers saying that he was “immunized” when asked about his vaccine status over the summer. The quarterback went on to test positive for COVID-19 last week.

After the joke, the camera immediately shot to Underwood, who gave Bryan the side-eye to end all side-eyes.

Carrie Underwood’s Husband Mike Fisher Defends Aaron Rodgers

To date, Underwood’s husband Fisher is one on the only celebrities to defend Rodgers, who was targeted by cancel culture as a result of his vaccination status.

“I stand with @aaronrodgers12,” Fisher wrote on Instagram. “I believe in the freedom to choose what we put in our bodies and the freedom of conscience. Science clearly shows the vaccinated spread covid at basically the same rate as the unvaccinated.”

“The @nhl @nfl and other leagues are ignoring the science and choosing to coerce and punish unvaccinated players with these restrictions,” he added. “If they really cared about people’s health they would have daily testing for all. But these past 2 years has clearly shown us that this is not about our health, it’s about control over our lives. I won’t stand for that.”

“It’s time to fight for our medical freedom and I feel for those that have been fired for choosing medical freedom. People losing their jobs over a medical choice is un-American and unacceptable,” Fisher concluded. “We need to stand up now before it’s too late!!”

Aaron Rodgers Explains His Vaccination Choice

Despite the backlash that he has received from the left, Rodgers has stood by his actions when it comes to the vaccine.

“Some of the rules, to me, are not based in science at all. They’re purely trying to out and shame people, like needing to wear a mask at a podium when every person in the room is vaccinated and wearing a mask — makes no sense to me,” Rodgers said last week, according to Fox News. “I have followed every single protocol to a tee, minus the one I just mentioned because it actually makes no sense to me. My daily routine is the routine of an unvaccinated person.”

Aaron Rodgers is undoubtedly very grateful to have people like Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher in his corner. Clearly, they are loyal people who are there for their friends through thick and thin!

While Luke Bryan hosted the 2021 2021 Country Music Association Awards, he was not nominated.

Carrie Underwood was up for Entertainer Of The Year at this year’s CMA Awards but got beat out by ‘Forever After All’ artist Luke Combs. You can watch the music video for his Song Of The Year nominee below:
