Travis Tritt: ‘I’m Putting My Money Where My Mouth Is’
“I’m putting my money where my mouth is and announcing that any venue or promoter mandating masks, requiring vaccinations, or pushing COVID testing protocols on my fans will not be tolerated,” Tritt told Daily Wire. “Any show I have booked that discriminates against concert-goers by requiring proof of vaccination, a COVID test, or a mask is being canceled immediately.”
So far the 58-year-old singer and songwriter has followed through by canceling shows in Muncie, Indiana; Philadelphia, Mississippi; Peoria, Illinois; and Louisville, Kentucky.
Travis Tritt explained that he did so to show his support for those who are fighting against vaccine mandates.
“Many people are taking a firm stand against these mandates around the country, and I wholeheartedly support that cause,” Tritt said. “I have been extremely vocal against mandates since the beginning.”

Travis Tritt: ‘This Is A Sacrifice That I’m Willing To Make’
“This is a sacrifice that I’m willing to make to stand up for the freedoms that generations of Americans have enjoyed for their entire lifetimes,” he emphasized. “There are plenty of promoters and venues around the country that appreciate fans and the freedom of choice in this great country, and those are the promoters and venues that I will be supporting.”
While Travis Tritt apologized for any inconvenience that canceling his concerts will cause fans this causes fans, he added that his management “will try to reschedule unrestricted shows in these areas as soon as we can.”
On Twitter, the “Great Day To Be Alive” singer is encouraging his fans to “hold the line”.
The fear-mongering narrative is breaking down. People who stand up against this narrative scare the hell out of those who promote fear. Hold the line and stand strong. 🇺🇸🎸

Country music legend Travis Tritt isn’t the only celebrity to make this kind of move.
Comedian Jim Breuer Bucks Vaccine Mandates
Last month, former “Saturday Night Live” star Jim Breuer announced the cancellation of many shows at venues that require proof of vaccination, describing this as vaccine “segregation.”
“Two quick updates on shows that you may think you may be getting tickets to or you already have tickets to: The Wellmont Theater in New Jersey — not doing it,” Breuer said at the time. “Also the Royal Oak Theater in Michigan, due to the segregation of them forcing people to show up with vaccinations … I am also not doing those shows.”
“I know I’m going to sacrifice a lot of money, but I’m not going to be enslaved to the system or money,” he added.
Breuer has also said that he sees getting the vaccine as a “choice” that people should be free to make on their own, and that they shouldn’t be “forced” to so in order to attend one of his shows.
In fact, the 54-year-0ld comedian is doubling down on his right to make jokes. Jim Breuer is promoting his new Patreon special appropriately named “Somebody Had To Say It”.

Tritt and Breuer echo the sentiment of many Americans who feel they should be free to make their own decisions about the vaccine without being mandated by the government or businesses.
We applaud Travis Tritt and Jim Breuer for courageously taking a stand for their beliefs!
