Pat Sajak Wheel of Fortune

Pat Sajak has hosted Wheel of Fortune for 38 years, but is he ready to hang it up? Sajak makes no secret that he is closer to retirement but feels he has a few more years left in him. He revealed his plans in this Entertainment Weekly exclusive.

“I wouldn’t bet on seeing us in, like, 10 years, I would say,” Sajak added, before asking White, “Is that fair [to say]?”

Don’t say goodbye just yet, though, as White and Sajak are signed to be on TV until at least 2024.

Sajak and White discussed their future while promoting the primetime series Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. On the subject of dream celebrity guests, Sajak hopes his favorite actress Meryl Streep steps up to spin the wheel.

Both Sajak and White are in their retirement years but thankfully show no signs of slowing down, at least not in the next few years.

I love Wheel and have it on nearly every day. I’ll miss them when they are gone.

I hope that they don’t try to “reboot” the show when the two retire.

I’m OK with them bringing on new hosts, but don’t change the look and format too much. There is no point in messing with what works, don’t you agree?

Let’s learn a bit more about the beloved Sajak and ageless board-minder Vanna White.

The Best of Pat Sajak

Alongside the late Alex Trebek, there hasn’t been a more consistent presence on American television than Pat Sajak.

His affable hosting ability can make anyone feel at ease. I know I would be very nervous going on Wheel, but I’d love knowing Pat was there to make me feel a little easier with a joke:

Sajak isn’t above keeping it real when a guest has a snotty attitude

Besides hosting wheel, Pat is known for his fearless political takes on Twitter. He isn’t afraid to buck the Hollywood trend and say what needs to be said

Vanna White Fun Facts

Besides being the hostess for Wheel for nearly 4o years, Vanna is an entrepreneur and yarn maven.

She is known as “America’s most famous crocheter” and even has her yarn line from Lion Brand Yarn.

She is also a savvy real estate investor and World Record Holder. White is recognized as the “world’s most frequent clapper,” with the Guinness Book of World Records estimating she claps, on average, 606 times per show.

Vanna White is 64. I mean…if I look like that when I am 64, I will be very pleased.

Who Would Be A good Wheel of Fortune Hosting Team?

When the two depart, who would be a suitable replacement? Why not Aaron Rodgers and fiancé Shailene Woodley?

Rodgers already served as guest host of Jeopardy! He’s got the personality to be a great host, and he probably isn’t long for the NFL anyway.
