Bobby Eaton’s sister announced the death of her brother on social media. She did so with the following social media post.

“I never wanted to have to post this, but my Little Brother Beautiful Bobby Eaton passed away last night. When I find out all the details I will post them.”

“Bobby was the kindest, loving person you would ever meet. I  loved him so much and going to miss him.”

“Please say a prayer for my Niece Taryn she found him. And she just lost her Mom a little over a month ago.”

Eaton was hospitalized last month after suffering a serious fall. The fall left him with several broken fingers and hip damage.

It is currently unclear if the fall is related to his death. For now, we await further news from the family.

Ringside Intel wants to express their condolences to the family and friends of Bobby Eaton during this difficult time. May he rest in peace.

In addition to numerous wrestling fans, several wrestlers posted their condolences on social media.

Frankie Kazarian (AEW):

“RIP Bobby Eaton. A friend, and an absolute master of the craft of professional wrestling. A man whom I hope will get the recognition that he undeniably deserves.”

Joey Janela (AEW):

“RIP to one half of the midnight express and one of to he greatest workers of all time ‘Beautiful’ Bobby Eaton, condolences to his friends and family.”

Eaton leaves behind his children Dustin, Dylan and Taryn. Bobby’s wife Donna unfortunately passed away earlier this year.

Bobby Eaton’s Career

Bobby Eaton started his pro wrestling career when he was only 13 years old. To learn his craft, he spent time training under Tojo Yamamoto.

Eaton was quickly noticed as an outstanding wrestler. However, his career stood out because of his extraordinary abilities in tag team wrestling.

Bobby was one half of the famed tag team Midnight Express. This was the famed tag team managed by wrestling personality Jim Cornette.

Midnight Express was one of the most recognizable tag teams in the world. To this day, they are the standard to which many tag teams are held to.

While he was best known for his time with Midnight Express, Eaton also tagged with other world class wrestlers. These wrestlers include Arn Anderson and William Regal.

Bobby Eaton had a professional wrestling career that went over a whopping forty years. He was one of the rare breeds of wrestler that absolutely live and breathe the sport.

The death of Eaton certainly puts a dark cloud over the wrestling world. However, he will be fondly remembered by many wrestling fans across the globe.

His work as a professional wrestler set the standard for tag team wrestling today. And I expect it will be a standard for many years to come.
