UFC fighters Thiago Santos and Yana Kunitskaya have announced they are expecting.
Kunitskaya confirmed that she is pregnant via social media, giving a funny shoutout to Santos.
“Did I eat to much watermelon,” she wrote. “Good job (Santos).”
Kunitskaya did confirm she plans to return to fighting after giving birth, adding “I will be back in octagon 2022.”
The UFC contenders had previously made the same announcement, only to reveal it as an April Fool’s Day joke.
Kunitskaya has not fought since early July when she lost to Irene Aldana via first round stoppage, falling to 14-6 with a no-contest. Overall, “Foxy” is 4-3 since signing with the UFC after challenging for the Invicta FC title.
Santos, meanwhile, will take on Johnny Walker this October in a five-round main event. He has dropped his last three, including a title fight with then-champion Jon Jones.
