Pop star Miley Cyrus is living just as large as ever rocking out for the elite in the Hamptons as the rest of New York faces tightening COVID-19 restrictions. The private billionaire’s bash headlined by Cyrus flies in the face of millions of everyday Americans who are struggling just to put food on the table amidst the ongoing pandemic.
Page Six reported that Billy Ray Cyrus’ pop star daughter Miley headed to the Hamptons in New York over the weekend to perform at a private party hosted by billionaire Michael Novogratz.
The former hedge fund manager and financier is reportedly worth a whopping $7.25 billion as of May 2021.
Decked out in a red leotard, Miley Cyrus reportedly sang her hit songs “Party in the USA” and “Wrecking Ball.”
The Tennessee native then performed a cover of Sinead O’Connor’s version of the Prince-penned “Nothing Compares 2 U.”
Various social media users posted video of Miley rocking out for the Hamptons elite. The videos show a crowd of people with phones out and alcohol in hand as the pop star performs.
There were also children in attendance. You belong to an elite class when, as a young girl in America, you can say that you’ve been personally serenaded by a global superstar.
The performance took place in a massive tent that held giant mermaids as part of the Coney Island “Mermaid Parade” theme. Guests wore themed costumes, through a giant box-office-like entrance.
Novogratz posted photos of his costume on social media that showed him wearing a bandana and metallic blazer with no shirt and dramatically painted-on abs.
One of his sons went to the event dressed as a sailor, while another wore a toga.

Novogratz is known as “the Forrest Gump of bitcoin” because of the luck he’s had with cryptocurrency. His previous jobs included stints at Goldman Sachs and Fortress Group.
“Even by hedge fund standards, Novogratz, a former Goldman Sachs partner, is widely considered a cowboy,” The New York Post reported after he left Fortress. “Among his flashy outfits, he has been known to wear diamond-studded belts and cowboy boots. He briefly served as a helicopter pilot in the New Jersey National Guard.”
Guests at the party over the weekend were asked by Novogratz to support Project Most, a nonprofit that helps with after-school and summer learning programs for families in the area.
The vast majority of Americans are struggling just to survive right now. Yet elites like Cyrus and Novogratz are partying on as if nothing is happening.
It must be nice to be rich and famous so that you can party it up without worrying about where your next meal is coming from.

28-year-old Cyrus has long shown that she is a celebrity who is hopelessly out of touch with reality.
Unsurprisingly, she is a huge fan of Joe Biden. In fact, she was ecstatic when he beat Donald Trump in last year’s election.
“Now THIS is a PARTY IN THE USA! @JoeBiden @KamalaHarris,” Cyrus tweeted back in November after Biden won. She posted this alongside a video of him making a speech.
So we’re reminded yet again that celebrities and the elite are not bound by the same rules as the rest of us. It must be nice to live such a life of liberal privilege.
