Former UFC welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns picked up a much-needed victory, besting Stephen Thompson Saturday night at UFC 264.
Burns used his wrestling to maintain control over Thompson, sweeping the scorecards and winning two of the three rounds overall.
The win got Burns back on track following a February loss to Kamaru Usman for the title. That snapped a run of six consecutive wins for the Brazilian.
