UFC 264: Conor McGregor Promises ‘This Is Not Over’ After Loss

The celebrities came out to see Conor McGregor, but it was Dustin Poirier who stole the headlines at UFC 264.

Poirier earned a second victory over the former UFC two-division champion in 2021, as a broken ankle stopped the fight after the first round.

As McGregor went to throw a punch, his left foot doubled over, leaving him on the ground. Poirier finished the fight in a strong position, and once the doctor saw the break, it was declared over.

In January, Poirier finished McGregor in the second round. McGregor won the first meeting between the two several years ago.

Despite the loss, and the pain of his injury, McGregor vowed “This is not over” while conducting a post-fight interview with Joe Rogan.
