“Fox & Friends” host Will Cain had the perfect spin on the crisis that is currently happening in Cuba, as he took to Twitter to point out that Cuban anti-government protesters have more respect for the American flag than pro athlete turned activist Colin Kaepernick.
Cain posted side-by-side images, with the first showing Kaepernick wearing a t-shirt that glorifies Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
The second image shows protesters marching in Cuba draping themselves in American flags as they fight back against the country’s oppressive Communist regime.
“An American who understands neither freedom or oppression drapes himself in Castro, while Cubans who understands both drape themselves in the American flag,” Cain captioned the two images.

Videos went viral on social media on Sunday showing protesters holding up the American flag as they marched in Cuba, according to Fox News.
Giancarlo Sopo, a communication strategist who once worked on former President Donald Trump’s reelection campaign, tweeted out one of the videos.
“This is deeply moving,” he tweeted. “Watch as Cubans wave American flag while marching against the island’s 62 year-old communist dictator on the streets of Havana. Never forget what America represents to millions across the world.”
The video was also tweeted out by Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), who pointed out the differences between these freedom-loving protesters and the leftwing American rioters who love to burn the American flag.
Donalds wrote in the caption:
Protesters in America: Burn the US Flag, a symbol of freedom, liberty, & justice—ideals that EVERY American possesses but so often ignore.
Vs.
Protestors in Cuba: Fly the American Flag & are willing to die for the freedom, liberty, & justice that’s synonymous with the USA.
Kaepernick wore the t-shirt pictured above during the postgame press conference the very day that he first took a knee during the National Anthem in August of 2016.
The infamous tee displays images from a 1960 meeting between his idol Malcolm X and Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. Below the images are the words” Like Minds Thinks Alike”.
It’s surprising he didn’t choke on the irony of wearing a t-shirt promoting one of the world’s most infamous oppressors while protesting “systematic oppression” of minorities in the US during the press conference.
The Cuban protesters are a stark contrast to Kaepernick. The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback does not respect the American flag and has even praised Castro in the past.
“One thing that Fidel Castro did do is they have the highest literacy rate because they invest more in their education system than they do in their prison system, which we do not do here, even though we’re fully capable of doing that,” Kaepernick once said, according to Bleacher Report.

Kaepernick would rather honor a brutal communist dictator like Castro then actually stand up for the American flag or anthem.
Cubans know firsthand how lucky the American people are to live in a country where we’re even free to disrespect our flag in the way that Kaepernick has.
The millionaire athlete would do well to take notice of the Cuban people and their struggle under a communist regime.
If he did that, perhaps Colin Kaepernick would finally realize how blessed he is to be an American.
