The roster for Bellator has been getting smaller and smaller, with that never more evident than by the latest decisions to release 18 including two former champions.
Among the group given their walking papers was Daniel Straus and Liam McGeary, according to a report by MMA Fighting.
Straus has been out of action since 2019 and been involved in legal matters, as well, which likely played a huge role in his release.
For McGeary, he last fought two years ago at Bellator 220.
Among the others released were Bec Rawlings, Heather Hardy, Tywan Claxton, Tyree Fortune, John Teixeira, Khonry Gracie, Amanda Bell, Alessio Sakara, Demarques Jackson, Chuck Campbell, Olga Rubin, Dominic Mazzotta, Mike Jasper, Kirill Sidelnikov, Ryan Spillane and Steve MacDonald.
