Chrissy Teigen’s Cyberbullying Drove This Project Runway Star To Brink Of Suicide

Chrissy Teigen is once again apologizing for cyberbullying. Project Runway’s Michael Costello is combatting this apology with his own story about how Chrissy Teigen’s bullying still haunts him to this day. She had him blacklisted and even told him he “might as well be dead.”

Costello, who was a design contestant on Project Runway, alleges that Teigen’s cyberbullying drove him to consider suicide.

Teigen relied on social media, and especially Twitter, to become a cancel culture queen. However, now that her old tweets are being exposed, she’s facing serious repercussions.

Lately, she’s been a social media pariah and her bank account has taken a beating, too. Retailers dropped her endorsed products when her cyberbullying of teen girls was exposed.

Her attempt to apologize on Twitter fell flat because she tried to make excuses.

Now, she’s trying to regain her social media crown by admitting “I was a troll, full stop.”

Teigen Tries Apologizing Again

Teigen posted her apology on Medium. Of course she shared it on Twitter as well.

Teigen wrote that she cringes reading what she said to and about others in the past, including children. She claims that isn’t who she is in real life. She was only a mean girl when behind a keyboard.

“I wasn’t mean in my everyday life. More than once, someone would come up to me and say, ‘You’re so much nicer in person.’ Why was that not a huge red flag?,” the model claims. “But I took it in and tossed it aside. I did book signings where girls would call me a bad ass bitch, and I’d stretch my arm toward them as they walked away, looking at my friends and saying, “I promise, I’m not!”

“Life has made me more empathetic. I’m more understanding of what motivates trolling — the instant gratification that you get from lashing out and clapping back, throwing rocks at someone you think is invincible because they’re famous. Also, I know now how it feels to be on the receiving end of incredible vitriol. Believe me, the irony of this is not lost on me,” she continues.

She ended her apology message by asking for “patience and tolerance” as she works on herself through therapy and other avenues.

Is Her Apology Truly Sincere?

But, it’s hard to imagine someone being so different than who Chrissy Teigen has been online.

She encouraged people, including impressionable teens to commit suicide.

Even in her apology, she she claims that he enjoyed taunting famous people while failing to recognize she and her husband John Legend are both famous.

She was one of the few people Joe Biden followed on Twitter.

Chrissy Teigen’s Cyberbullying Of Michael Costello

Hours after Teigen attempted apologizing again, Michael Costello shared on Instagram his battle with the model.

She based an opinion on the designer which happened to be from a photoshopped comment. Teigen refused to listen to the fact that it was fake.

She wanted Costello’s professional credits destroyed and even wanted him dead.

Together with her stylist, Monica Rose, Teigen promised to close doors on Costello.

Costello shared, “Each time I have pleaded with Chrissy Teigen or Monica Rose to see the whole story before believing a false narrative a former disgruntled employee cast upon me, they didn’t give me the time of day.”

And here’s how Teigen replied:

“Racist people like you deserve to suffer and die. You might as well be dead. Your career is over, just watch,” Teigen replied.

“I didn’t see the point of living,” the 38 year old designer continued. “There was no way I can ever escape from being the target of the powerful elites in Hollywood.”

Costello Trying To Heal

“I am not okay,” he admitted. “I may never be okay, but today, I am choosing to speak my truth.”

Costello said he is admitting this so he can heal.

He is still so traumatized by Teigen’s actions and death wish that he just last week considered suicide again.

After all, Teigen was embraced by political and Hollywood elite. She had tremendous sway and influence. Even President Biden was a fan. Even with her apologies, the trauma caused by Chrissy Teigen remains.

Teigen used cancel culture as a weapon. Now, it has come for her.
