Noelle Foley Suffering From Rare Disorder, AEW Star Injured

Noelle Foley once had her sights set on becoming a wrestler. However, a concussion has placed those plans on hold. Sadly, as a result of the injury, she’s been suffering from a rare disorder that is causing added issues.

Noelle Foley had aspirations to follow in her dad’s footsteps, WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. While training, a concussion placed her on the sidelines.

As such, her training had to end. According to some tweets, she’s now dealing with additional issues.

Foley revealed on Twitter that she now suffers from hyperacusis. It’s a rare condition that causes her physical pain when she hears things.

While she remains positive, this condition has affected her daily life. She’s missed out on a ton of things.

Noelle Foley Has Other Rare Disorders, Too

Something to add is that she not only is dealing with hyperacusis, but also tinnitus, misophonia, and phonophobia. Most importantly, she cannot return to the ring or continue to train.

These complications have been ongoing since her concussion occurred in 2019. The good news is, she’s part of a clinical study for the illness, so there’s light at the end of the tunnel.

The sad news is that there’s a possibility that Noelle Foley may not wrestle again. At the end of the day, her health is the number one priority.

Over at AEW, a superstar is struggling with another kind of in-ring injury. WNZ has an update, below.

AEW Star Injured

AEW announced that Austin Gunn will be out of action for about 8 to 10 weeks. Gunn faced Anthony Ogogo on this week’s Dynamite and sustained injuries.

During the match, Ogogo hit Gunn multiple times in the gut. This caused bleeding to come out from Austin’s mouth.

The referee tried to stop the match. However, Austin Gunn stopped him.

He would move on to try for a leg takedown but was unable to. Ogogo would then hit Austin with a pop-up punch to the face.

The Ref Called The Match Off

This is when the referee called the match off. This was only the second time Ogogo had an AEW match on Dynamite.

Ogogo’s first match was versus Cole Karter on the April 14th edition of the show. The boxer-turned-wrestler is set to battle Cody Rhodes at Double or Nothing on Sunday, May 30th.

Meanwhile, Austin Gunn has been in the business for a little while longer. He signed a contract with Ring of Honor in the summer of 2019 and would move to AEW in early 2020.

In Gunn’s debut match, he teamed up with his father, the legendary Billy Gunn on January 14th during AEW Dark. They’d move on to defeat Shawn Spears and Peter Avalon.

Sadly, Gunn suffered a torn PCL injury during the bout. He came back in early November 2020, teaming up with his dad, and also Cody Rhodes.

Austin is currently in the Gunn Club stable, along with his brother Colten and his dad. Here’s hoping he recovers swiftly and gets back to in-ring action, soon.
