Laura Sanko, who has become a familiar face during UFC events over the past few years, has joined the Wimp2Warrior foundation in the role of brand ambassador.
Sanko will remain involved with the UFC. She joins the likes of John Kavanagh and Rich Chou to be involved. Chou is the North America vice president for the group.
“Our first order of business is building a team of recognizable faces within the MMA community who represent our ideals, and who have had relatable experiences in their path to training,” said Chou. “From the moment we spoke to Laura, we were blown away by her balance of understanding of how we are trying to change lives through the W2W program with understanding how to translate our B2B vision directly to the gym owners we look to partner with.”

Sanko has worked for the past decade-plus in combat sports, including training and competing herself. She has also worked with Invicta FC and LFA, and is a purple belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu along with a Muay Thai practitioner.
