Chelsea Green Responds To Fan Question About Wedding To Matt Cardona

Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona have been a couple for quite some time. In fact, they were together when they were both working for the WWE.

The pair are now engaged, so fans were obviously curious if Green and Cardona are considering getting married on Impact Wrestling.

A fan took to twitter stating that a wedding would be “epic on so many levels.” Instead of confirming or denying, Chelsea responded with a question.

Chelsea’s response seems to indicate she is open to have a wrestling wedding.

And since Chelsea is scheduled to join Impact Wrestling, there is no reason why it should not. 

Fans seemed to be quite excited about Chelsea’s response. One fan even showed photographs of her own wrestling-themed wedding.

A wedding between these wrestlers would be a massive pull for Impact Wrestling. And since Alli (The Bunny) is signed to AEW, she could even get involved.

If you remember, AEW and Impact have a working relationship. Alli and Chelsea Green had a storied wedding feud back in Impact before her WWE run.

In short, there are many factors that could make this particular wedding work and be hugely successful. 

Needless to say, the prospect of an on-screen wedding for Cardona and Green is exciting.

Iconic Wrestling Weddings From The Past

Over the years, there have been dozens of wrestling weddings that took place on our television screens. Naturally, some were more memorable than others.

One of the most memorable weddings was the one between Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth.

There was also a dramatic wedding moment between Stephanie McMahon and The Undertaker in 1999.

In fact, Undertaker “kidnapped” Stephanie to have a dark marriage. 

The fallout from the wedding was quite unbelievable. While they did not get married, Steve Austin ended up interrupting the ceremony.

Naturally, Stephanie McMahon had tons of wrestling weddings over the years.

In addition to the Undertaker, she also had a wedding to Test and Triple H, obviously the latter her real life husband.

Another memorable wedding was the one between Billy and Chuck. As this happened in 2002, it got loads of publicity around the world. 

Unfortunately, the wedding itself turned into a bit of a joke as both men backed out and admitted they were not gay. Then the minister (Eric Bischoff) took his mask off.

Of course, there were many more! From Edge and Vickie to Kane and Lita. 

One thing is certain though, they are always memorable.
