Amanda Nunes Is Clearly The Greatest Female Fighter Of All-Time

There really is no doubt about it: Amanda Nunes is the greatest female fighter of all-time.

The reigning two-division UFC champion dominated Megan Anderson Saturday night at UFC 259, defending her featherweight title with a first round submission.

Nunes, who also holds the bantamweight belt, is currently riding a 12-fight win streak.

And it isn’t like she has been fighting bums or also-rans.

The 32-year-old Nunes has defeated Anderson, Felicia Spencer, Germaine de Randamie, Holly Holm, Cris Cyborg, Raquel Pennington, Valentina Shevchenko twice, Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate, Sara McMann and Shayna Baszler.

All of those wins coming since a 2014 loss to Cat Zingano. 

That is a whole lot of former UFC champions and titleholders from various other promotions. And a current UFC champion in Shevchenko, who holds the flyweight belt.

Much like the quality of opponent, Nunes isn’t just scoring wins, she is leaving her opponents on the canvas.

She has submitted McMann, Tate and Anderson while finishing Holm, Cyborg, Pennington, Rousey and Baszler. 

Simply put, no one on this planet competing in the women’s ranks can hold a candle to what Nunes has accomplished in her career.
