The WWE added another name to the 2020 Hall of Fame. That’s right, Hollywood actor William Shatner will join the 2020 Hall of Fame.

As you know, the 2020 ceremony takes place this year due to coronavirus. Last year’s ceremony was postponed due to pandemic fears.

Over the years, William Shatner made numerous appearances in the WWE. Some of the wrestlers he worked with included Bret Hart and Jerry Lawler.

Interestingly, Shatner would also induct Jerry Lawler into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2007. He also hosted Monday Night Raw in 2010.

And, Shatner narrated WWE Breaking Ground, which was released on the WWE network.

With his induction, Shatner joins the likes of the Bella Twins, nWo, Jushin Liger, Kane, Rob Van Dam and Eric Bischoff. It is possible that more names will be revealed for the class of 2020.

The ceremony this year is also a double one. In addition to the class of 2020, the class of 2021 will also be inducted.

Bautista is another wrestler that was meant to be inducted this year. However, the wrestler preferred to be inducted in front of a live audience.

This is a naturally understandable reaction for Bautista. After all, his previous WWE return was not exactly received well due to his feud with Daniel Bryan.

Bautista wants to relive his glory days during the ceremony. Given his retirement, this is certainly something he deserves.
