The last two “Jeopardy!” episodes hosted by legendary host Alex Trebek are set to air tonight and tomorrow night. In anticipation for these episodes, “Wheel Of Fortune” hosts Pat Sajak and Vanna White are speaking out to discuss the legacy that Trebek left behind before passing away at the age of 80 following a long battle with pancreatic cancer.

The two episodes were filmed before Trebek’s death in November of 2020.

Vanna White And Pat Sajak Pay Tribute To Alex Trebek

Alex Trebek, Vanna White and Pat Sajak all became household names thanks to their long stints on a popular games shows.

“I knew Alex for almost 40 years, and he’s just been a good friend,” White told Entertainment Tonight.

“Through the years, I have gotten to know his wife and his kids and he is just part of the family.”

“Just on a professional level, I have been at this a long time and I really admire what he has done, and he had done so much,” Sajak added.

“When I started the show… Alex had already done a half a dozen, maybe more, game shows here and in Canada, he has done a bunch of them, and was always highly professional and was like the perfect match for his show.”

“Wheel Of Fortune” and “Jeopardy!” have been sister game shows for decades, running one after the other Monday-Friday nights.

This meant that the three hosts had spent quite a lot of time together over the years.

Reflecting on Alex Trebek’s iconic career, Pat Sajak marveled, “As a fellow professional, the admiration is off the charts.”

Celebrity Edition Of ‘Wheel Of Fortune’ Airing Tonight

For fans of “Wheel Of Fortune”, it’s an exciting time. The game show’s first ever primetime special featuring celebrity contestants is set to premiere on Thursday night. Sajak and White could not be more excited about this special.

“In 38 years, we have never been on primetime, so why not do it now?” White gushed. “It’s a positive thing, it’s a family thing, celebrities are excited, we are excited, we are giving away lots of money to lots of charities, so that was really special.”

“What I did not realize is that when you cross the line from 7:30… into primetime, at 8 o’clock, you actually have to show a passport,” Sajak added. “It’s a whole different [world].”

White did not want to give away too much about “Wheel Of Fortune’s” celebrity contestants, but she told Page Six that they “were really good players.”

“I didn’t know if they could play the game well because it’s definitely easy but it’s not as easy as it looks,” she explained.

“And it’s a situation like that where you don’t have a script in front of you that you’re used to and you have to play a game in front of millions of people. No matter who you are you get nervous but they all did so well.”

Pat Sajak And Vanna White ‘Never Fight’

Though they’ve been hosting “Wheel Of Fortune” together for nearly forty years, there is no drama between the pair.

White even said in an exclusive interview with Page Six that the two “never fight.”

“Maybe because we don’t see each other for two weeks at a time and then we see each other for a couple of days and then we don’t see each other,” White said.

There’s something about classic game shows that’s just good for the soul.

Here’s hoping that Pat Sajak and Vanna White will be hosting “Wheel Of Fortune” for many more years to come!
