Bella Mir, Frank Mir’s Daughter, Competes At iKON 4

The daughter of living MMA legend Frank Mir, 17-year-old Bella “Lady” Mir, returns to Mexico on December 11 to headline iKON 4, streaming live and exclusively on UFC FIGHT PASS, starting at 10 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. PT, from Marinaterra Hotel Spa & Event Center in San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico.

iKON 4 is presented by iKON Fighting Federation (in association with Roy Jones Jr. Boxing) and De La O Promotions.

“We will close out the year with, by far, our best iKON Fighting Federation card,” iKON federation president Keith Veltre said. “Bella is the future face of women’s MMA. She’s only 17 but already an incredible athlete and rising MMA star. The co-feature could be the main event on just about any other card, and the rest of this card is stacked as well.”

Mir (1-0-0, iKON: 1-0-0), fighting out of Las Vegas, made her pro debut October 22 only six weeks ago at iKON 2 in Mexico, decisioning her opponent in impressive fashion. Her goal is to become the youngest female world champion in MMA history. She is matched in the Dec. 11th main event against pro -debuting Amanda Quesia Braqae Silva.

The co-featured event has possible UFC call up implications for the victor as undefeated Mexican flyweight Daniel “Golden Boy” Zellhuber (9-0-0) takes on his fellow countryman, Alexander “Raptor” Barahona (13-3-0), who is riding a 5-fight win streak.

Undefeated Paraguay lightweight Alex Martinez (6-0-0) takes on Mexican Christopher “Anaconda” Ramirez (7-2-0) in an intriguing match-up. Martinez was reportedly set to make an appearance on the Dana White’s Contender Series, but he was forced to pullout due to visa problems. The promising prospect will be tested by Ramirez, who is the No. 4 ranked lightweight in Mexico.

Also fighting on the undercard is unbeaten Mexican bantamweight Carlos “El Lobo” Rivera (12-3-0), vs. Carlos Marquez (6-5-0), Mexican featherweight Luis Gerardo “Mano” Garcia (1-0-0) vs. pro-debuting Australian Issac Thompson, and Everardo Ruiz Valdez (1-1-0) vs. pro-debuting Alfredo Arreola.

In a female bout, West Palm Beach (FL) flyweight Kayla “K-Rock” Hracho (2-2-0, iKON: 1-0-0) will face pro-debuting Alfredo Arreola.
