The UFC’s latest card is all set for Saturday, as the fighters have hit the scales in Las Vegas, and the main event bout between Thiago Santos and Gloveira Teixeira is a go.
In the headliner for UFC Vegas 13, Santos will throw hands with his fellow light heavyweight contender, Teixeira.
Santos weighed in at 205.5 pounds for the five-round fight, as did Teixeira.
The 41-year-old Teixeira (31-7) has been climbing towards another title shot, via a four-fight winning streak. In his last outing, this past May, he stopped Anthony Smith.
The 36-year-old Santos (21-7), meanwhile, hasn’t fought since last summer, when he lost via split decision to now-former champ, Jon Jones. Santos had won four straight prior to that loss.
