In the main event, Thiago Santos will take on fellow, light heavyweight contender Glover Teixeira. It’s a pivotal fight in the light heavyweight division, as Santos is ranked #1 and Teixeira is #3.
Santos (21-7) is fighting for the first time since July 2019, when he narrowly lost via split decision to now former champ, Jon Jones. Santos had won four straight prior to the defeat.
Teixeira (31-7), on the other hand, fought in May and stopped Anthony Smith. Teixeira is riding a four-fight, winning streak.
In the co-main event, rising heavyweight Tanner Boser (19-6-1) will battle former champ, Andrei Arlovski (29-19).
