Sadie Robertson Of ‘Duck Dynasty’ Fame Calls On Fans To ‘Stand Firm In Faith’

Former “Duck Dynasty” star Sadie Robertson took to Instagram over the weekend to urge her fans to lean on their Christian faith during this difficult time as together we weather this pandemic.

Sadie Robertson Urges Fans To Lean On God

Sadie, 23, actively shares her faith on social media. Growing up in the Christian example of her grandfather Phil Robertson as well as her parents Willie and Korie certainly made her strong in her faith.

Now that Sadie can no longer speak at Christian events around the country, she relies on Instagram to spread the Good Word.

This week, she wrote in her post that if a person is not “firm in faith,” a person cannot be “firm at all.”

This is actually a quote from the Book of Isaiah in the Bible that Sadie has kept close to her throughout this pandemic.

“This year has been crazy, and there is so much unknown,” Sadie Robertson wrote.

“More and more people are feeling the effects of the change we have had to adapt to every day. In fact I asked my great-grandma yesterday if she remembers a time in her lifetime that felt like this and she said, ‘oh yes, world war 2.’ This is no joke.”

The former “Dancing With The Stars” contestant added that it currently feels like “we are stripped of our comfortability.” She then questioned how people have managed to stay so strong during this tough time.

Sadie Robertson Says Look To Jesus

“I encourage you friends that in a day like this if you do not stand firm in faith it could be very challenging to stand firm at all. But like my grandma finished our conversation saying, ‘but I take hope in the fact that God is over it all,'” Robertson continued.

She concluded her post with another Biblical quote, writing, “looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Sadie Robertson Has a Baby On The Way

Robertson announced last month that she is expecting her first child with her husband of one year, Christian Huff.

“We are thankful to be carrying a miracle into the world! Baby, you are already loved and already believed in,” Robertson said in her overjoyed pregnancy announcement.

“Can’t wait to welcome you into the world with all the joy, hope, and excitement you will bring into the life of so many by your miraculous incredible life.”

Robertson’s COVID Battle

Sadly, Sadie Robertson tested positive for COVID-19 soon after she announced that she was pregnant.

While the young wife and soon-to-be mother required hospitalization at one point, she thankfully appears to have since made a full recovery.
