“Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson took to social media on Wednesday to post a powerful prayer for President Donald Trump to be reelected.
Robertson, 74, has long been one of the few people in the entertainment world to be an outspoken supporter of President Trump.
In his Wednesday prayer, the Robertson family patriarch asked God to give Trump four more years in office.
“We’re at a crossroads,” Robertson captioned the video of his prayer. “Here’s my prayer today for our country and our president.”
“Here in America many of our people, Father, have fallen the ways of the evil one,” Robertson’s prayer stated. “I pray that you give us time to repent as a nation to turn back to you, Father.”
“My prayer is that you be with one Mr. Donald J. Trump. You know him, Father. We started with him early,” he continued. “We told him what you told us to tell him — that Jesus died for him, was raised from the dead.”
“I would pray, Father, give us four more years with him,” Robertson concluded. “Help us, Father. Protect us from the evil one each and every day we live.”

Back in September, Robertson defied the left to explain why he supports Trump. He finds the president to be “caustically brilliant.”
“I’m a Trump supporter. I weigh a man in politics, I judge them by what they’ve done,” Robertson said. “That’s how I judge them politicians. I preached the gospel to Donald J. Trump. He’s heard the good news because I told him. He listened.”
“My definition for him in two words,” he added. “This is what seems to fit the way he rolls. Caustically brilliant. Now you can get on both sides of that. You can accentuate the caustic part of a man, or you can look at irregardless the caustic nature of some of his wordage, he’s brilliant.”
Robertson went on to say that Trump has a “quickness” and “keenness” about him before describing him as a “shrewd” man.
“He is remarkably shrewd when it comes to his policy. It’s remarkable,” Robertson said. “I’ve never seen a president get that much done in the face of this much blow back and opposition. I’ve never seen a guy do what this dude has done.”
Robertson then recalled talking about the gospel with Donald Trump during a private meeting before the 2016 election.
“I reached in my pocket and I pulled out a diagram of the gospel, an arrow coming down out of heaven — God becoming flesh — the cross, the tomb, and an arrow coming out of the tomb and the last arrow coming back down to earth,” Robertson said. “I said, ‘Whatever happens, Trump, don’t miss this.’”
“I’m convinced he’s put his faith in Jesus and I’m convinced he’s a brother,” he added, saying that he considers Trump to be a believer in God.
God bless Phil Robertson for taking such a strong stand for President Trump!
