Combate Americas Renews Special Show On Snapchat

On the heels of a successful launch, Combate Americas, the world’s premier Hispanic Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) sports franchise, and Snap announced an extension of their partnership to deliver more episodes of its “Combate Americas” show to Snapchatters.

“Combate Americas” was renewed for an additional 10 weekly episodes to air on Snapchat through January 2021.  Since premiering in June, “Combate Americas” has reached more than 2.6 million unique viewers.

“It has been great working with Snap, which is committed to bringing its young, multicultural audience diverse voices and engaging content that resonates,” said Combate Americas CEO Campbell McLaren.  “Combate Americas is dedicated to the best in Hispanic sports for fans and athletes, so we are excited to continue building our partnership with Snap.”

Produced by digital media powerhouse Team Whistle in partnership with La Jaula Studios, the multi-media production studio owned and operated by Combate Americas, episodes consist of Combate Americas fight programming highlights edited into short-form content and stylized specifically for Snap’s mobile-first audience.

The next run of episodes will commence with a “Top Moments” themed program showcasing the most memorable moments to date inside La Jaula, the Combate Americas competition cage.
