Bellator 252 Weigh-in Results: ‘Pitbull’ – Carvalho Title Fight’s Official

The fighters have hit the scales in advance of Bellator 252, and Thursday's title fight between 'Pitbull' and Carvalho is proceeding.

Bellator 252 is going down tomorrow in Uncasville, Connecticut, and the weigh-ins for the card are in the books.

Patricio ‘Pitbull’ versus Pedro Carvalho

In Thursday’s headliner, featherweight and lightweight champ Patricio ‘Pitbull’ Freire is set to battle Pedro Carvalho. The bout is a quarterfinal contest in Bellator’s featherweight grand prix and the 145 title is also on the line.

‘Pitbull’ (30-4) came in at 144.7 pounds for the fight and Carvalho (11-3) was 144.5. 

The champ has won five straight bouts and ‘Pitbull’ hasn’t fought since last September when he recorded a decision win over Juan Archuleta.

Carvalho also hasn’t competed since September, 2019, when he submitted Sam Sicilia. Carvalho has won six in a row.
