AEW Debuting TNT Show

AEW already as Dark and Dynamite, but they will soon be debuting a new show on TNT. Also, the latest on Matt Jackson and his injury.

AEW Debuting New TNT Show

All Elite Wrestling remains a focus of WarnerMedia and TNT, as AEW will debut a new show soon.

The two sides have already signed a new deal despite having several years on the original one. AEW Dynamite is a staple of the mid-week programming for TNT.

During a recent media call for Saturday’s Full Gear event, Cody Rhodes let a little information out. Rhodes confirmed an hour-long show on TNT will be coming from the promotion, and it will be a new show.

AEW Dynamite, which is two hours long, will not be expanded to three for the new hour. AEW Dark will also remain on YouTube going forward.

Rhodes did not reveal any further notes or news regarding the new program, only teasing that details are being worked on continually.

AEW has been on TNT since October 2, 2019 with a two-hour weekly show. AEW was formed a year prior to that between Rhodes, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson and others.

Tony and Shahid Khan, billionaires and part of the ownership group of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars and Fulham FC, are the lead investors for AEW.

Matt Jackson Competing Injured

Young Bucks

As we move forward and to AEW’s Full Gear, Matt Jackson of The Young Bucks continues to deal with injuries.

Jackson suffered a partially torn MCL and also has a slight tear in his ACL, but remains on course to hit the ring.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Bryan Alvarez, the injuries are why Jackson has been selling an issue with his leg in recent matches. He first suffered the injury back in July during the Falls Count Anywhere match on Dynamite with The Butcher and The Blade.

While The Young Bucks were going for flying elbow drops off the set, Jackson’s knee was jammed. He was still able to complete the maneuver, but it proved costly.

Rehab and rest have been in order for Jackson to stay on the active roster. He has avoided surgery and worked numerous dates for AEW.

At Full Gear, The Young Bucks will challenge FTR for the AEW tag team championships. Part of the stipulation for the match involves The Young Bucks never being able to challenge for the titles if FTR retains.

In recent weeks, FTR have been working over the leg of Jackson, which will likely factor in Saturday’s championship bout. Many have considered FTR vs. The Young Bucks as a dream match.

The oldest of the Young Bucks tweeted out an update for fans. Matt used the official Young Bucks Twitter account since both brothers left the platform some time ago.
