UFC Vegas 12 Results: Uriah Hall Finishes Anderson Silva

The UFC returned to Las Vegas and the UFC Apex with UFC Vegas 12 Saturday night.

It was an emotional night for both main event fighters, as Uriah Hall finished Anderson Silva.

The event aired live on ESPN+.

Hall, who grew up idolizing the former UFC middleweight champion, scored one of the biggest wins of his career with a fourth round stoppage. The former Ultimate Fighter competitor dropped “The Spider” late in the third and again early in the fourth.

Silva announced his would be his final fight before the bout, ending one of the more memorable careers inside the Octagon.

In the co-main event, Bryce Mitchell took advantage of the spotlight, claiming a decision over Andre Fili. Mitchell, an alum of The Ultimate Fighter, improved to 14-0 with the win by sweeping all three scorecards.

Heavyweight Greg Hardy, a former NFL all-pro selection, continued his winning ways. Hardy finished Maurice Greene in the second round for his seventh career win.

Kevin Holland, one of the biggest favorites of the night, showed why, submitting Charlie Ontiveros in the first round. He has now scored four wins in 2020 and promptly called out champion Israel Adesanya following this victory.

Thiago Moises opened the main card with a decision victory over Bobby Green in lightweight action.

On the prelim portion of the event, Alexander Hernandez finished Chris Gruetzemacher and Adrian Yanez scored a first round knockout by head-kick.

Sean Strickland bested Jack Marshman with Jason Witt, Dustin Jacoby and Miles Johns all recording finishes.
