UFC Vegas 8: Neil Magny Dominates Robbie Lawler

Neil Magny moved his winning streak to three tonight at UFC Vegas 8, but scoring a clear cut win over former welterweight champ, Robbie Lawler.

Magny switched positions, possibly to look for a twister. Lawler defended and eventually got back to his feet. Magny planted some knees and elbows from the clinch and the round ended with Lawler pressuring, but unable to land any big shots.

Round three

Lawler landed a hard right hook moments in and Magny pulled guard. Magny locked Lawler up and the ref restarted the fight standing. Lawler hit Magny with a couple more big shots but Magny returned fire and took “Ruthless” down. Lawler got back to his feet but Magny fired in a nice knee. Moments later, Magny scored with another hard in a striking exchange. Magny clinched up and continued to work with knees and punches. Lawler’s nose is bloodied up.
