UFC Vegas 5 Weigh-in Results: Brunson vs. Shahbazyan is Official

The fighters have hit the scales in advance of UFC Vegas 5, and the bout between Dereken Brunson and Edmen Shahbazyan is official.

The weigh-ins are over for Saturday’s UFC Vegas 5 card, and the main card has remained intact.

Tomorrow’s main event will see undefeated middleweight Edmen Shahbazyan will battle longtime contender, Derek Brunson.

Shahbazyan (11-0) has won all four of his UFC fights to date, and most recently the rising fighter KO’d Brad Tavares.

Brunson (20-7), meanwhile, has rebounded from losses to Israel Adesanya and ‘Jacare’ Souza with wins over Elias Theodorou and Ian Heinisch.

It’s a big fight for both men, as the victor could face a top-five ranked contender next.

**Due to weight management issues with Eric Spicely, newcomer Charles Ontiveros was set to face Markus Perez in a catchweight bout. However, due to a commission ruling, the bout has been cancelled.
