Round one

Chimaev came charging out, clinched up and threw McKee to the mat. From there, Chimaev started firing in shots from above. McKee rolled to his back and ate some hard hammer punches. Chimaev started hunting for a choke but McKee defended nicely.

Chimaev continued to pour down punches from above. Near the three minute mark, Chimaev had scored over 40 shots while McKee had landed none….Moments later, the fight was mercifully stopped. Whoa.

With the win, Chimaev made history by recording two UFC wins in just 10 days. Chimaev submitted middleweight John Phillips just over a week ago. Tonight’s bout took place at welterweight.
