Kanye West aborted child

The rapper Kanye West shocked his fans over the weekend when he claimed that he and his wife Kim Kardashian nearly aborted their first child, North West.

West Makes Shocking Abortion Claim

The Daily Star reported that while speaking at his presidential rally in South Carolina on Sunday, West told the story about how he agonized secretly over having North back in 2013. He added that he only went through with having the baby after getting a message from God.

An emotional West, 43, told the crowd:

“I almost killed my daughter! My girlfriend called me screaming, crying. And she said, ‘I’m pregnant.’ She was crying.”

He went on to say that they came so close to aborting North that Kim actually had the pills in her hand, adding, “My screen went black and white.

West recounted:

“And God said, ‘If you f*** with my vision, I f** with yours.’ And I called my girlfriend and said, ‘We’re going to have this child.'”

The couple now has four children – North (7), Saint (4), Chicago (2), and Psalm (1).

Kanye Doesn’t Care If Kardashian Divorces Him

The rapper admitted he may be in trouble with Kardashian for revealing this abortion story. However, he doesn’t care if she divorces him. He’s just thankful to have his daughter.

“Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into this world, when I did not want to,” West said. “No Plan B. There is Plan A.”

As he continues on his presidential run, West said that he wants to reward people for having children in a bid to stop abortion.

“Abortion should be legal but the option of maximum increase should be available,” he said. “Everybody who has a baby gets a million dollars or something.”

Kardashian has yet to offer any comment on her husband’s abortion claims.

West’s Chances In This Election

Bre Maxwell, a Democratic operative in South Carolina, told ABC News about what she thinks will happen with West’s presidential run.

Maxwell said:

“He may not even take away from Joe Biden, but I think what Kanye will probably be able to do is ignite a voting bloc that probably wasn’t going to vote for Joe Biden — the young black millennial who doesn’t care about politics or who’s not involved in politics but they are involved with music.”

She added that West’s run concerns her. She wants all the focus to be on Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee.

“We need all the votes out of people we can get to support Joe Biden,” Maxwell said. “We’ve got to get rid of Donald Trump and his administration. We’ve got to flip the Senate. We’ve got to keep the House, because that’s the only way we’re going to be able to make sure America is great.”

It remains to be seen how West’s run for president will work out for everyone involved. But, his campaign is now working in multiple states to gather signatures. And, the young campaign is “maturing and growing.”
