Justin Timberlake Shames America’s Founding Fathers In His Call To Remove Confederate Statues

Pop superstar Justin Timberlake, who was born and raised in Tennessee, just submitted to the radical left by shaming America’s founding fathers for owning slaves. And, he’s calling for the removal of Confederate statues as well.

Justin Timberlake Attacks America’s Founding Fathers

The Grammy award winner took to Instagram on Monday to pen a lengthy post in which he urged his followers to take action as racial protests continue to spread across the United States like wildfire.

Instead of just calling for the statues to be removed, however, Timberlake took things a step further by slamming the men who founded this great country for their “racism.”

Here’s how he starts:

“A lot of you know I’m from Tennessee…a state that happens to be the home of many many confederate monuments. I’ve been listening closely to the ongoing debates about what to do with these statues — and I really want to take a minute to talk about this. When we protest racism in America, people think we are protesting America itself. Why is that the reaction? Because America was built by men who believed in and benefitted from racism. Plain and simple.”

Timberlake Doubles Down

“This is when you hear ‘But that’s all in the past’. So let’s be clear… those men who proudly owned and abused Black people are STILL celebrated all over the country,” Timberlake added.

He then claimed that there are “roughly 1,848 confederate statues in the U.S.”

“More than half are in The South, and it’s not acceptable. No one should be protecting the legacies of confederate leaders and slave owners,” Timberlake wrote. “If we plan to move forward, these monuments must come down.”

The 39-year-old ended his post by saying, “But let’s remember: Removing these statues does not erase our country’s vile history of oppression — removing them is a symbol of respect for Black people in America and it’s a step towards progress and actual equality for all.”

Timberlake posted the above caption alongside a video by American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) deputy legal director Jeffrey Robinson.

In the video, Robinson claims that the top 10 states with confederate monuments “account for over 4,000 lynchings in 73 years from 1877 to 1950.”

Other stars including Faith Hill, Reese Witherspoon, and Taylor Swift, joined Timberlake to promote the same pleas:

Leftists Work To Erase American History

Radical leftists continue to try to erase American history by ripping down monuments to any historical figure they deem “offensive”. However, their efforts are not limited to just members of the Confederacy. Historical figures like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln are being targeted as well.

It’s unfortunate to see Timberlake submitting to the Left, and their efforts to make Americans feel shame about our history. Like any country, America has had its issues, but this doesn’t change the fact that it is the greatest country in the world.

We are all so lucky to live in a nation that gives us so much freedom, and Timberlake and his fellow liberals should remember that next time they want to bash America on social media.
