Jon Jones

Both Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz have been campaigning for a title shot, and now Jon Jones has informed them the fighters will get their wish. According to “Bones”, they’ll be fighting each other for the UFC’s light-heavyweight title instead of him.

Jones says he’s dropping the light-heavyweight crown

Since Jones called for a super fight with Francis Ngannou not long ago, the star’s relationship with the UFC and in particular, Dana White, has tanked even further. Jones has claimed the UFC was unwilling to pay him anymore for a bout with Ngannou, but White says “Bones” was asking for way too much money.

Jones has denied that’s the case, and he’s been feuding with White since. So much so, he dared the UFC to release him.

Well, more recently, Jones tweeted out the claim below.

#ESPN Reyes vs Jan For the UFC light heavyweight championship of the world. As of right now, I got nothing to really gain fighting either of them.

Let me know if you guys want to set up a day in 2021 for that Izzy fight. Hopefully you guys will be willing to pay by then.

“To the light heavyweight title Veni, vidi, vici”

So, we’ll see what happens here. You would think calmer heads will prevail and Jones will remain the UFC’s light-heavyweight champ. But you never know. A lot has been said in the last week or so.

Jones posts video of him confiscating spray cans

Jones issues with the UFC aside, recently he shared out the video below, which shows him taking away spray cans from two men at a protest in Albuquerque.
