June has always been a pretty big month for Bellator MMA.
And while the promotion continues to take a wait-and-see approach in regards to the coronavirus, we can look back at two major events that took place under the Bellator banner and have been replayed on the official YouTube channel.
Bellator 192 went down January 20, 2018 from The Forum just outside Los Angeles in Inglewood, Califoria. Almost 12,500 people packed inside to see Chael Sonnen take on former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson that night.
Sonnen and Jackson met in a Bellator World Grand Prix Heavyweight contest.
The card also featured an incredible five-round, 25-minute battle between Rory MacDonald and Douglas Lima for the Bellator welterweight title.
Also, Michael Chandler took on Goiti Yamauchi, Aaron Pico collided with Shane Kruchten and Henry Corrales battled Georgi Karakhanyan.
Later that year, Bellator brought an event to the WinStar World Casino with Bellator 195 from Thackerville, Oklahoma.
That card featured a bantamweight title fight between Darrion Caldwell and Leandro Higo, along with Joe Taimanglo vs. former champion Joe Warren.
