Will Big E Be The One To Become The Next WWE Champion?

Many people are supporting Big E in a bid to become the new WWE Champion. Among his biggest supporters, you will find none other than Kofi Kingston.

Kofi Supports Big E In Singles Competition

Since Big E is an important member of The New Day, a singles run affects the entire team. Fortunately, his team mates support a potential championship run for the big man.

Kofi supports Big E in the biggest way possible, by praising him during various interviews. While speaking with SunSport, Kofi praised Big E’s talents.

 “He is somebody who was very talented in the ring, very athletic, very agile, amazing on the mic, amazingly entertaining if you go to his social media pages, you’re constantly entertained, you never know what he’s gonna do.”

Not too long ago, Big E supported Kofi Kingston during his singles run. Now, Kofi returns the favor for his friend.

Big E’s “Lack of Personality” Stopped His Singles Run

According to Kofi Kingston, the WWE was not keen on Big E as a singles competitor in the past. Apparently, the company found that the wrestler had a “lack of personality.” 

Fans who know and love Big E today already know that he has plenty of personality to go around. In fact, he is one of the funniest members of The New Day.

In other words, past reasons for not running with Big E as the WWE champion no longer stand. So, should Big E get a title shot in the nearby future?

The Answer Is Yes

When the opportunity arises, Big E should most certainly get an opportunity to become the WWE Champion. Of course, the timing at the moment might not be right, as The New Day recently took back the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.

Since I enjoyed The Miz and John Morrison as the champions, I was surprised to see The New Day capturing the titles again so soon after Miz and Morrison captured them. Nevertheless, I am sure The New Day will have another interesting run.

The New Day is one of the most successful tag team champions of all time, so it is no surprise that the company puts them in a prime tag team position most of the time. But does this mean that another singles run for another New Day member is not in the cards?

There are plenty of tag teams on both brands, so there is certainly some space when it comes to singles competition for Big E. I also have no doubt that Xavier and Kofi will fully support him during his run as well.

Big E and Xavier Woods supported Kofi Kingston in a massive way during his singles run. How great would it be to see the same thing happen for a talented guy like Big E?

Of course, it remains to be seen if Big E wants a singles run. The man is certainly talented and a serious competitor, so I would be interesting to see a singles run in the nearby future.
